Softly is a menstrual-cycle education and tracking app. By using it, you accept these terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to use Softly. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your licence to use Softly

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Softly for your own, non-commercial use, in line with these terms and the App Store's rules.

Not a medical device

Softly offers educational information and estimates based on the data you enter. It doesn't provide diagnosis or treatment and doesn't replace the advice of a healthcare professional. For any concern about your health, see a doctor.

Using the app

Softly is intended for personal use. Cycle and fertility predictions are statistical estimates and may not be accurate: don't rely on them as your only method of contraception or to plan a pregnancy without professional support. Please don't misuse the app, or try to disrupt, copy or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows.

Content and ownership

The educational text in Discover comes from Softly's Knowledge Base, an open-source project with its own licences (see The Knowledge Base). Everything else in Softly belongs to Vincenzo Gallina and is protected by copyright.

Disclaimers and liability

Softly is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for choices made in reliance on the app's estimates or educational content. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Italian and EU law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, and the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the European Union continue to apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves; the most recent version is always available here.
